Your Responsibilities

Your Mission as Business Development Manager - EV Battery Production - EMEA
Are you ready to play a key role in the transformation of electromobility? As our Business Development Manager in the EMEA region, your focus will be on developing and deepening strategic customer relationships that sustainably support our company's growth. Your task is to promote innovative solutions while specifically targeting revenue generation through qualitative growth.
  • Strategic Customer Acquisition: You will identify new business opportunities by actively engaging with potential clients in the "EV Battery Production" sector. You will strategically build relationships with future key customers that promise long-term partnerships.
  • Development and Implementation of Sales Strategies: You will design sales strategies that aim not only for short-term gains but also to strengthen the market share and influence of our company in the industry over the long term.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Through regular communication and personal meetings, you will develop deep and lasting relationships with our clients, understand their needs, and thus provide tailored solutions.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork: In collaboration with product management, technical teams, and existing sales channels, you ensure that the specific requirements of the customers are known and met, laying the groundwork for successful deals and long-term satisfaction.

Your qualifications 

  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or in a related field.
  • Experience: You have at least five years of experience in business development, ideally in the battery or electromobility industry, where you have successfully built and maintained strategic customer relationships. Experience in adjacent technology sectors such as semiconductors, startups in advanced manufacturing or greentech, aerospace, or defense is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: You are proficient in modern technologies such as AI, LLM tools, and are adept at prompt engineering. You can communicate complex technical content clearly. An understanding of machine vision technology is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: With a strong hunter mentality and excellent communication skills, you are strategic and analytical in thinking. Your resilience and adaptability enable you to succeed even under changing market conditions.
  • Language Skills: You are fluent in German and English, with additional languages being an advantage.
