Your responsibilities
- Independent execution of group consolidation in accordance with IFRS
- Assistance in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and interim financial statements
- Processing and analysis of consolidation issues (capital, debt, expense, and income consolidation)
- Handling currency translations, minority interests, and deferred taxes
- Providing technical support to subsidiaries on IFRS issues
- Further developing and optimizing consolidation processes
- Collaborating on special projects (e.g., M&A, initial consolidations, system implementations)
- Working closely with auditors and internal specialist departments
Your qualifications
- Completed degree in business administration, economics, or comparable qualification
- Extensive professional experience, ideally approx. 10 years, in a comparable position, ideally in an international production environment or in auditing
- Very good knowledge of consolidated accounting in accordance with IFRS; knowledge of HGB is a plus
- Strong technical understanding and experience with common ERP systems, such as SAP and consolidation software
- Solid knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication skills, ability to cooperate across departments
- Strategic and conceptual thinking
- Business fluent written and spoken German and English
