Immediate start, full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (at least 30 hours per week) – initially for a fixed term of 2 years

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will have technical responsibility for the product lifecycle management of the products you oversee - from the start of series production through to phase-out. You will continuously manage and develop the product portfolio and ensure that quality, production, and performance requirements are consistently met.

Your responsibilities will include, in particular: 

  • Product-side responsibility for the products under your purview throughout the entire product lifecycle—with the goal of ensuring that defined quality, production, and performance requirements are met on a sustainable basis
  • Independent management and further development of the product portfolio under your responsibility from the start of series production, including continuous optimization throughout the lifecycle
  • Serving as the point of contact and escalation authority for complex internal and external product-related issues within your area of responsibility
  • Evaluation, prioritization, and commissioning of product changes as well as continuous improvements, taking into account quality, costs, availability, and feasibility
  • Ensuring that, in the event of product-related quality or production deviations, necessary product changes are initiated and effectively implemented to restore quality and series production requirements
  • Responsibility for the end-of-life management of the products under your care, including timely and cost-optimized phase-out as well as technical support for succession planning
  • Active participation in the analysis, evaluation, and implementation of product-related process improvements in close collaboration with the relevant functional departments

Your qualifications

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, technical management/product management, economics with a technical focus, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of product or lifecycle management in a technical environment
  • Relevant professional experience in at least one of the following areas:Product management, lifecycle management, quality management, production support
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering, purchasing, production, and sales
  • Basic experience with PLM and ERP systems
  • Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and mass production
  • Very good German and English language skills
