We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team in the Americas. This role will help drive go-to-market strategy, product positioning, market research, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement for Basler’s computer vision solutions, with a focus on Life Science and Medical market segments.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the Life Science and Medical market segments and provide the organization with market analysis, customer segmentation, competitive intelligence, market size assessment, and growth opportunity insights. 
  • Assist sales teams by developing product messaging, positioning, value propositions, sales enablement content, and customer-facing presentations; support sales in key customer meetings. 
  • Shape product roadmaps by initiating voice-of-customer research, consolidating market requirements, characterizing unmet customer needs, and communicating business potential to product management teams. 
  • Support new product launches and go-to-market plans for targeted market segments, including the development of customer-focused value propositions, launch messaging, sales tools, sales training, and customer-facing activities. 
  • In cooperation with the Marketing Communications team, define and execute integrated marketing plans, demand generation initiatives, and content strategies that help grow our customer base. 
  • Contribute to and lead cross-functional product marketing, market development, and commercial growth projects as required.
  • Provide regular monthly and/or quarterly performance analysis, program reporting, and ROI-oriented recommendations to Basler management; demonstrate ownership and propose creative corrective actions when metrics fall below target. 

Up to 25% travel may be required (including international).  

Your qualifications

Preferred Education: 
 
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field 
An advanced degree is a plus  

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, strategic marketing, market development, product management, or B2B technology marketing 
    Direct experience in life sciences, medical technology, medical devices, or healthcare-related markets is a strong plus 
  • Direct experience in a similar technology field, such as digital cameras, machine vision, computer vision, imaging systems, optics, automation, or industrial technology, is a strong plus 
  • Direct experience with a B2B business model, technical products, or solution-based selling environment is a plus
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts, business case development, pricing considerations, and implications on commercial decision-making 
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset, with the flexibility and hands-on approach needed to adapt to changing business priorities. 
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to partner effectively across sales, product management, application engineering, marketing communications, and other cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create customer-facing presentations, sales tools, reports, and business communications 
  • Direct experience with Salesforce, CRM systems, lead management, or pipeline support is a plus
