System landscape & focus
- SAP S/4HANA Finance with a clear focus on FI
- Primary focus on Financial Accounting: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting
- CO elements, particularly in Production Controlling and Costing, are present but secondary and supportive in nature
- Clean core strategy
- Universal Journal (ACDOCA) as the central data basis for finance processes
- Integration with MM / SD / PP, with emphasis on FI-relevant process integration
- Automation and extensions via SAP BTP
- Modern user experience with SAP Fiori & Embedded Analytics

Your responsibilities
- Advising business departments with a clear focus on Finance (FI) and related topics
- Analysing, optimising and further developing FI processes along the value chain
- Responsibility for architecture and design within the SAP FI (S/4HANA) environment
- Ensuring the integration of FI processes with neighbouring modules (MM, SD, PP)
- Further development of key functions within Financial Accounting (e.g. General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Receivables & Payables)
- Contributing to selected CO-related topics, where they are directly relevant to Finance
- Implementing automation and digitalisation solutions in the finance area
- Participation in transformation and harmonisation projects with a focus on Finance
Your profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as an SAP FI Consultant, ideally within an S/4HANA environment
- Strong expertise in SAP FI (e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Asset Accounting)
- Knowledge of CO is advantageous, but not a primary focus of the role
- Sound understanding of S/4HANA Finance data and system architecture
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable, particularly regarding FI-related processes
- Experience in transformation, migration or harmonisation projects
- Strong end-to-end process understanding, with a focus on finance processes
- Experience with best-practice approaches and a high degree of standardisation (clean core)
- Affinity for automation, digitalisation and data-driven working
