We employ about 850 people at our headquarters in Ahrensburg, Germany, as well as other sales and development locations throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Key factors in our more than 35-year success story include the courage to take risks, the willingness to see constant change as normal and the passion to pursue customer-oriented innovations.

Your responsibilities

Our international group develops, manufactures, and distributes products worldwide. To increase transparency, controllability, and efficiency along end-to-end processes, we are creating a new role in Controlling: You will combine controlling expertise with an understanding of processes and data.

As a Finance Process & Value Flow Analyst / SAP Key User, you will be the central finance resource for the financial perspective on end-to-end processes and value flows (e.g., plan-to-produce, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report). You will support process changes, design data flows from SAP and non-SAP ERPs, and represent finance requirements as an SAP Key User to IT and implementation partners.

End-to-end processes & value flows (finance view)

  • Modeling and analyzing value flows across functions and systems
  • Identifying process weaknesses and value/margin drivers

Collaborating on process and transformation projects

  • Controlling sparring partner in process changes, rollouts, and implementation projects (governance, target vision, requirements, tests, go-live support)
  • Business cases and impact assessments for process/system changes
  • Development of standards and finance process controls (data quality, controls, reconciliation and cut-off logic)

Data flows & analytics

  • Design and evaluation of data flows from multiple ERP systems (“single source of truth” concept)
  • Translation of technical requirements into data requirements: data models, mapping logic, harmonization (master data, accounts, cost centers, products, plants, customers)

SAP Key User Finance (Accounting & Controlling)

  • Representation of accounting and controlling requirements in the SAP environment (e.g., CO/PC, FI, ML/Actual Costing – depending on setup)

Your qualifications

  • Completed degree in economics (e.g., business administration, finance, controlling, business informatics, or industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling or finance-related fields, ideally in industry/production/trade End-to-end process understanding and interest in value flows (e.g., O2C, P2P, P2M, R2R) and their financial implications
  • Experience in SAP4Hana (ideally as a key user/in a project environment)
Strong analytical skills, strong conceptual thinking skills, and high data affinity
Confident interface skills as a “bridge builder” between finance, operations, and IT – clear and structured
  • High level of initiative, strong implementation skills, and enjoyment of building new things and actively shaping change
  • Very good communication skills (confident in workshops, stakeholder management, and structured documentation)
  • Very good English skills and good German skills
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 25% travel activity)
