Starting immediately, Full-time with 40 hours peer week

Your responsibilities

  • Consulting & Implementation
    Consulting and technical support in the operational implementation of export and foreign trade control for the Basler Group - in compliance with all relevant national and international regulations (e.g. AWV, AWG, EU Dual-Use Regulation, US regulations).
  • Guidelines & Compliance
    Creating, maintaining and monitoring internal guidelines and ensuring legally compliant implementation in processes and supply chains.
  • Regulation Monitoring & Communication
    Monitoring regulatory changes and implementing corresponding adjustments within the company.
  • Contact with Public Authorities
    Contact and representative for national and international authorities (e.g. BAFA, BIS, SG Customs).
  • Subsidiaries & Projects
    Monitoring of export and customs requirements of international companies as well as involvement in products, markets and IT projects with export relevance.
  • Process and System Optimization
    Further development of internal processes and SAP-supported processes (especially GTS, SD, MM) in coordination with management and export managers (Managing Board).
  • Audits & Training
    Support for foreign trade audits and internal training and awareness-raising.

Your profile

  • Whether you have a degree in logistics, business administration, engineering or law or a comparable qualification - the decisive factor for us is your relevant professional experience in the field of export control, customs and foreign trade - ideally at least 5 years
  • Additional qualification, training/further training in the field of customs/export control is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations (AWG, AWV, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EAR, embargoes, sanctions lists)
  • Confident handling of export lists, goods lists, EZT, TARIC, customs tariff classification, end-use declarations and catch-all clauses
  • Experience with approval procedures and obligations at BAFA, BIS and SG Customs
  • SAP knowledge (especially GTS, SD, MM) is helpful, but not a mandatory requirement
  • Strong analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex issues in an understandable way
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working with expertise in conflict and interface management
  • Business fluent in English as well as good written and spoken German
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25% travel activity)
