Your responsibilities

You will be part of our Controlling team and, as Finance Business Partner for Global Sales, you will play a central role in the financial management of our international sales business. As a proactive sparring partner, you will support global sales management in strategic and operational decisions and make a significant contribution to increasing performance and ensuring profitability. 

  • Finance business partnering for our sales management as a proactive sparring partner  
  • Sales planning and forecasting
  • Opportunity and pipeline controlling
  • Order intake and sales management
  • Price and discount management
  • Margin and profitability analyses
  • Plan/actual analyses and performance reviews
  • Business cases and quotation calculations
  • KPI and reporting development
  • Cross-functional collaboration with business management, sales ops, commercial, finance (e.g., month-end closing, data reconciliation) 

Your qualifications

  • Completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in sales controlling/finance business partner sales, ideally in an internationally active industrial company
  • Sales controlling expertise: pipeline/forecast logic, order intake, revenue, book-to-bill, conversion/win rate, sales funnel KPIs
  • Expertise in planning & forecasting, profitability and margin calculation, pricing & discounting, master data & data quality
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
  • Business partner mindset and ownership
  • Strong analytical thinking and judgment
  • Change and improvement orientation
  • Intercultural competence and ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good English skills and good German skills
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 20% travel activity)
