Your responsibilities
- Assisting with tax matters relating to the German parent company
- Contributing to the further development of tax processes in collaboration with Accounting, Finance and external consultants
- Assistance with national and, where applicable, international tax issues
- Helping to ensure that tax returns are prepared correctly and on time, particularly in relation to income tax and withholding tax
- Support with tax matters in the context of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including the calculation of deferred taxes
- Support during tax audits, in particular by coordinating documentation and reconciliations
- Monitoring of tax deadlines, documentation requirements and legal obligations
Your qualifications
- Completed tax training, e.g. as a tax clerk, tax specialist, or a graduate degree with a focus on taxation
- Solid professional experience, ideally around 7 years, in a similar role, for example in an international manufacturing environment or in tax consultancy
- Solid knowledge of national tax law
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP HANA or a comparable ERP system is desirable
- Strong hands-on mentality
- Good communication skills and a pleasure in working with internal and external contacts
- Business fluent written and spoken German and English
