Starting immediately, Full-time with 40 hours peer week

Your responsibilities

  • Assisting with tax matters relating to the German parent company
  • Contributing to the further development of tax processes in collaboration with Accounting, Finance and external consultants
  • Assistance with national and, where applicable, international tax issues
  • Helping to ensure that tax returns are prepared correctly and on time, particularly in relation to income tax and withholding tax
  • Support with tax matters in the context of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including the calculation of deferred taxes
  • Support during tax audits, in particular by coordinating documentation and reconciliations
  • Monitoring of tax deadlines, documentation requirements and legal obligations

Your qualifications

  • Completed tax training, e.g. as a tax clerk, tax specialist, or a graduate degree with a focus on taxation
  • Solid professional experience, ideally around 7 years, in a similar role, for example in an international manufacturing environment or in tax consultancy 
  • Solid knowledge of national tax law
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP HANA or a comparable ERP system is desirable
  • Strong hands-on mentality
  • Good communication skills and a pleasure in working with internal and external contacts
  • Business fluent written and spoken German and English
